Hello Steemit community. I'm a non-trinitarian Christian and I am happy to join this community to offer a different perspective into the Christian Faith. No matter what your views are, I encourage you to follow me. I hope my studies bless you and encourage you.

I'm also a minimalist and am continually weaning myself from materialism and working towards a simple, more wholesome life.

I'm Doug. I'm a husband, a father, and a Christian. I'm passionate about faith and I want to share my passion with you.

Pretradition is Christianity at its core. A primitive faith that is founded on Scripture and not the traditions of men.

A tradition is a custom or belief that is passed down from generation to generation without written instruction, or a doctrine that is believed to have divine authority though it is not found in the Scriptures.

I hope to break through some of the false traditions that have corrupted the Christian Faith. For many, these teachings will be very new, and for others they may even be considered heresy, but if you give me the chance, I think you'll discover a beautiful simplicity in the Scriptures that will give you a better understanding -and love- of God, our Father.

This isn't a new faith or a reformed faith. These teachings have existed since the beginning of the church but have long been silenced by those in power-and mostly forced into the shadows.

But we know that the light shineth in the darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. Today I hope to start a new journey with you in exploring the Christian Faith in this light.

In the words of Paul: Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ.
