Do you wonder how STEEM is populated across the world? I have the data!
I have read every single post across #introduceyourself category to track down where the steemians come from. It was a hard work to read all the topics, but I did it! Not all of us mentioned their residence but I successfully collect 267 records. For respect of the privacy, no personal data were recorded. I only incrementally counted countries and regions.
Snapshot was taken on July 8 and here is this data across the globe:

Thank you for this excellent informative infographic. Great work! I'd love to see this incorporated into the steemit infrastructure and updated in realtime as new users signup and add new content etc. Much like Fiat Leak for bitcoin but with more parameters.
