The Fat Kid Inside and Out

Hello Steemians! I was introduced to community through @legendarryl and @ybanezkim26 a few months back and I've been holding back to write my first post because I had my hesitation since I do not identify myself as someone with good writing skills. But after meeting @thegaillery and @honeyletsgo, I realized that this is an opportunity and a platform for me to improve myself and inspire others.

Hi, I'm Daphnie! I am a Chemical Engineer, with a big fat heart and body. I believe I am a strong and independent woman, but also a very emotional one. So, I guess I’ll be writing about my personal experiences and adventures. I only write when I’m emotional and scared to share my feelings with family and friends. Finally, I have a venue where I can share my thoughts and emotions.

I LOOOOOVE food! - that would be an understatement. Most of the pictures i take through my phone is about food. It is no question then that I am overweight, FAT that is for a lack of a better term, since I devour food.

Recently, I was hired as a Sales Engineer, and it has been so difficult for me to look the part since my clothes doesn't fit me properly. I can't even tuck my tummy, so all the excess fat shows in the most uncanny way. (Once, I was called out by my brother a "Michelin", since my fat showed in multiple layers like the Michelin logo.) So, I'll also be keeping you in track and asking for your opinions oh how I can improve myself-physically, mentally, emotionally, financially, spiritually, and every-ly.
