Hello Steemit!
So today I left the relationship and moved into a hostel. Being lied to for who knows how long finally came to an end when I caught her screwing her co-worker on valentines day as I came to her office with a surprise of roses. I will spare you the details of what went on in there.
I kept the door open and shout to the other people in the cubicles, "Hey, come and look at this" and within a short period of time at least five other staff came to the door as I started walking in the opposite direction towards the exit. I threw the roses in a paper bin, drove to a buddy and spent the rest of the day there and also borrowed his guestroom for the night.
I guess I was venting too much, but my friend told me about steemit and got me this account today and told me I should write my diary here instead of on facebook which I am ignoring right now because there is way too much drama going on right now with mutual friends.
I would lie if I told you my emotions are not playing tricks with me right now. One hour I want to smash someone, and another hour I sit and cry and blame myself for not seeing the signs earlier - but one thing is for damn sure. I am Free! She broke the contract and I am now free to think about what it is that I want to do with my life

Wow, sorry to hear this. As for where you should go, some people love mountains, some love the city, the ocean, etc.
Take a little time and imagine if you can go anywhere, where do you want to be? Quiet, loud, fun, peaceful. Location is only a small amount of happiness though. What you do and what you think is what usually makes someone happy or not.

hmm, good question. I like the mountains but up there it gets lonely. The city, well... not really ready to mingle with a lot of people at the moment but I could like to live in a suburb not too far from a city. I currently have lived in a small town where everyone knows everyone and the game of telephone... I cannot stay here, must move and start life anew.

I am sorry to hear that this happened, but I think it is awesome how strong and bold you were when you left her office (Why did she have her own office when others had cubicles, was she the boss?) open and told all the staff to come look in her office; I bet that caused some gossiping and some drama lol.
Good choice ignoring facebook! My advice to you is to rediscover what you are most passionate about and dedicate all of yourself to just that one thing. For me it would be music or hypnosis but for you it most likely is something completely different. Oh also, welcome to steemit! ^_^

I'm sorry this happened to you, but really glad you could leave the relationship before marrying, that would have sucked.
It's really interesting how life can surprise us sometimes, and everything can change so fast, I wish you the best in your new life, looking forward to read more of your posts in this amazing social media, and I recommend you to go to Peru (Macchu Picchu area, in particular, when I went in 2012, I had experienced an amazing spiritual transformation), or the pacific coast of Oaxaca, in Mexico (Puerto escondido, Mazunte, Zipolite)

If I were in your shoes, I'd choose to be somewhere largely away from large crowds of people. If you like the mountains, go there. If you like the seaside, go there. Get away from the place where people you know are going to keep talking about what you "should" and "should not" do, and what "could" have been different, and yadda, yadda, yadda....

I had something similar happen in about 1991 my first year in the real estate business.
I had stuck with a GF thru some very hard times ---- VERY hard for her. Not for me.
I knew she still had feelings for her ex, but trying to not be a jerk about it, I trusted her and him, when they went out at times.
One night, everything in me told me, this is not right and tonite something bad is going to happen ....
I caught them in the car messing around parked in the dark area in the school by their house when I was driving a kid home from work that I managed as the supervisor.
Literally walked right up to the foggy car of her ex and we both saw what they were doing and she tried to say it did not happen LOL
I have had some trauma in my life brother, so I feel you.

Yes, as some of the other people have said - allow yourself to cry and feel the pain. It's important. If you bottle it up - it will eventually come back up. And, you will feel much better if you allow your self to feel all the emotion.
And, yes, remember to breathe - deeply. And take things slow with yourself.
This experience is going to help you know what you want, and what you don't want - better.

Cycling in Australia sounds like fun. I have never been there, could jump on a plane and buy a bicycle there and ride for a month or two. Is it easy to sell the bicycle again when I leave?

I have no idea. A friend cycled all the way across on a $400 Kart special - no need to worry about selling at the end. Donate it. Have a look at eBay or Gumtree (a local buy:sell site) to see how cheap you can find a bike. Just have to work out how to carry the gear

Hi, I'm an old woman, so this may not help as I am female....but all I can suggest is to move into your heart. Your physical location is not too important for the healing. It's really easy to be angry, but right now you need to go through the reality of the pain of loss, betrayal and every other violation that you are experiencing. Too many times we run from the pain and stuff it down, which is in opposition to growth and self-love. You can't love someone else unless you love yourself; so the self blaming will not heal you either, but it is natural for the process that you are going through! Don't fear your feeling; but don't play out those feelings towards others or yourself. Find something very physical to do, sports or whatever...that always helps clear the system; sweat and tears carry poisons out of the body. And know that you are not alone in your experience.
