I made the mistake of posting a very lame first post yesterday, because I had absolutely no idea of Steemit conventions. So, much improved, here's my "official" introduction! ;)
I'm an MSc. working at/for nuclear power plants, so you can expect some serious opposition if you're going to post unsubstantiated anti-nuclear propaganda! LOL
Trading (or investing) in Bitcoin, Ethereum and other cryptocurrencies is one of my hobbies, and also the reason I discovered Steemit. I used to be very active on Facebook and G+, but the initial excitement has long faded. I guess a lot of you guys and girls feel the same way. Let's try to make Steemit the new exciting place-to-be!

Hey, Raf! Nice to have you.
As someone of the younger generation, I grew up to the pro and against nuclear debate. Having been surrounded by both parties I have a fair share of arguments for each side. I'm aware that nuclear energy is cleaner and more efficient than burning coal but people still have not figured out what to do with all the leftover nuclear waste, and therefore I cannot agree with the pro-nuclear mindset. I believe humanity should be advanced enough at this point to shift towards renewable energy especially with electric cars spiking in demand.

With modern nuclear power plants, they can recycle much of the waste, and new plants are less prone to melt downs. Nuclear power is a good way until renewable mature more
