I am a self-learned Photoshop enthusiast who loves to edit pictures to achieve an aesthetic look on social media.✨ My experiences come from the countless hours that I spent on creating/editing memes on Facebook and also tons of hours spent on Photoshop editing tutorials on YouTube. 📺 I would very much appreciate it if you guys would support what I am doing by following me.❤
Here, seeing is believing. Take a look at a few of my photos from my recent trip to Singapore.
The above is an unedited image of the city view of Singapore taken from Marina Bay Sands.
After adding some lightning, color adjustments and removing unwanted objects from the picture, this looks absolutely stunning.

Ok, that's all for now. I am still a little confused on how this Steemit platform works...But I am slowly getting there now thanks to the Steemit community for all the tutorials and beginner's guide.

I found this post because @xcountytravelers and @brittandjosie at @heyhaveyamet promoted your post to help you grow quicker, and should you have any questions or need some guidance, you can go to the Steem Terminal in Discord.
I would like to add here that in order of avoiding any trouble, that you be careful and cite your sources when you use stock or anyone else's photo; that way you avoid any problems with plagiarism. Only a strong recommendation...

Yes, I would be more than willing to cite the sources of any stock images. But what if the photos are really mine? How do I cite my own photos? Any idea?

Yes, just simply state that these photos were taken by you and are owned by you, but there are two on here that have shown up on multiple sites, so those were too similar to images already being used, and someone could look and say there is plagiarizing going on; all I'm recommending is even if they're yours, in order to avoid any problems, just state so; we do it for safety and convenience so there is no question.
And, as a side note, you can edit these posts to make changes or correct typos, just for info.

I would recommend that you go on Discord to the Steem Terminal and there are a bunch of us that go in there, and you can get some questions answered, and a lot of guidance, from friendly and knowledgeable people. You can also save on Resource Credits that way, they don't last too long when you're new...

Here is some information every newbie should know:
The value of an upvote is related to how much Steem Power the upvoter holds, as well as the current market price for the STEEM cryptocurrency coin.
Upvotes are not infinite, but they recharge. The more upvotes a person uses, the less it will be worth next time. On average, each person can give 10 full upvotes per day, because it's also how much upvotes recharge daily. People have to pick between many posts to decide what they're going to upvote, often choosing something they like but also taking profits into consideration. If someone doesn't upvote you, they could be waiting for their voting to recharge.
Your free account started with a borrowed 15 Steem Power. As you earn from your posts and comments, that will be taken away until you're standing on your own feet in the platform.
Remember to both give and take. If people only want to take away from the platform, the STEEM coin will eventually be worth nothing, because then everyone wants to sell while noone would be willing to buy.
If you run into posting limitations, that means you need more Steem Power. It's like a "bandwidth". The more you hold, the more you can do. It recharges, but slowly if you don't have much SP.
Steem Power can be bought, but it can also be delegated (borrowed/lent) using a steemit command. It can be undone by using a similar command too, so the delegator is in complete control.
