Well, for a while now I've had to struggle with myself as to what exactly the adjustments I've had to make since I joined Steemit. This was supposed to be written when @surpassinggoogle promoted and supported minnows through the untalented adjustments contest. However, I would write mine because I'd love to reflect back some days and reminisce on the things I've had to go through on this platform.
POSITIVE ADJUSTMENTS
I pride myself in the fact that am smart, am an engineer that tries to know something about everything, and an opportunity to make more meaningful researches couldn't have come at a better time.
As a student staying up awake through the night is not much of a problem, but since Steemit I've made better use of that night period, times when I feel tired and wish to take a break from reading, Steemit offers that opportunity to relax and still learn and add value to both my life and that of others.
However I have the seeming down side of Steemit.
THE OTHERWISE
Data usage has been one adjustment and a very important one for that matter. Here in my country, cost of internet data is on the high side and my frequent use of Steemit has increased my data usage and has resulted in increasing my subscription budget for the month.
Have there been impacts to my life since I joined Steemit? Of course, a lot for a fact!
Benefits Since I Joined
I have always been the hustle guy who has to find a way to get money so as to manage in school and take care of some bills. So I fix phones and laptops to make ends meet. However, since my steemit exposure I've been able to add to whatever I get from my little hustle, and more importantly, have some cash to give out to people who need money.
It has however not been all rosy!
I would have given up after a few post, especially my introductory post that ended up in 3 cents. But whenever I go through other peoples account, especially @rharphelle @adejoke16 @adetola etc, I get this assurance that my voice can be heard here.
Overall, its been fun here! I'll be done with my final exams in a few days and have some time to add more value to this community!
