Bitfilm Director and Liberty Activist Aaron Koenig Joins Steemit - Get his Bitcoin Book for Free!

Hello and welcome to Steemit. I met u when u came to Kolkata in Feb, 2014.

For some time, I was thinking about how Steemit would be to release short film and documentaries. Films, which generally finds it difficult to make its way to the big screen. If those are released on Steemit and people upvote them according to how they like the film, then that might be beneficial from film producer's angle. What do u think about it to use Steemit as film release platform?

Hi Redstone,

that sounds like a good idea! I have to understand how Steemit works, as I am just starting to use it.

Let's keep in touch about this!

Best regards

Aaron

Great for film programme, I agree and support with u, about organisation events @aaronkoenig

Damnit! I just had this idea myself. :)
You beat me to the punch.

I basicly already have a complete concept for a series based on Mutant Chronicles. Problem is with how you could ever produce such a series. First of all you need funding for all the CGI, so you got to find someone (a jew preferbly) who can introduce you to the movers and shaker of Hollywood. So how would you ever get a project like that started? Who would pay if there where no guarantee for a pay-out?
Through Steemit, you could basicly do crowd-funding. Let's say that you release the manuscript 'for free' and let people upvote each episode, like a book. And once you got enough money to actually make the movie, you could then later release the episodes exclusivly on Steemit and thus create more money to fund the project.

I wanted to make a video on this and get upvotes for it, but now it kinda feels stale and last nights news...
Maybe it's synchronicity?
