Good evening to everyone, my name is Ricardo Torres, im 20 years old. Venezuelan man. 

Studies and knowledge.

I like very much to have extensive knowledge of everything a little. I currently study civil engineering at USM in Caracas. It is a great career to do. Maybe in the future i would like to study many others careers at another place in the world, you know, would be exciting to know other cultures as well. 

Since some time ago i read a lot of books of different category, politics, economy, psychology, self-help, business and many others... 

I am actually one of those who think that reading different kind of books builds your true character, makes you a better person and makes you take better choices.

Sports in my life

I have been always (since childhood) a sport lover, i think every sport has its touch of greatness.

My favorites are baseball and soccer, since approximately i was 3 years old i have been playing baseball and its been part of my life since that. A really exciting sport when you are inside the field into the game, a game that really need focus by the players. Boston red sox fan and i hope to visit Fenway park one day, i really love MLB. Favorite player of course: MIGUEL CABRERA! a monster at the plate, maybe the greatest of our country. 

And soccer... Who does'nt like soccer? Baseball have been part of my life since a lot, but i have to admmit that the world best sport is: SOCCER. Almost nothing compares to the emotions you feel when you watch your team scoring goals, winning games, even losing you are excited about what is going to happen next match. I have suffered a lot the last few years with my favorite team Manchester United, since the departure of Alex Ferguson the team has been in transition times, not easy of course but i have faith that they will rise to the top once again. 

                                                                                                                       

MUSIC 

Well, what would be t  he world without music? Probably the saddest place to live. 

Even when almost all my friends and family are used to the LATAM music, i have been always a rock music lover. Trust me, not easy with all of them around you playing another kind of music, but i managed to survive.

Favorite band ever: Metallica. They are really masters in the gender. James Hetfield has a great voice to metal since ever, and of course Kirk Hammett one of the greatest guitar player of all time. If i have to recommend you one song or maybe two, those are Fade to black and Master of puppets, hell yeah!

Play in a rock band in front of thousand people would be the greatest feeling ever. I honestly dont play any musical instrument, but i would like to learn about some of them, Guitar y drums looks so exited to play. The whole culture of rock are very fascinating, since the start to our currently days. Metallica are maybe not the greates for you, i know there are other amazing bands of other genders, i think led zeppelin and queen are very great at their peak. Currently bands like foo fighters, arctic monkeys and muse are also so great. 

The first band i liked was Linkin Park, all started with them. Chester Bennington's voice when screaming are unbelieveble.

Future goals and my country currently

One of my main goals in my life is build up an enterprise, build my own mark, do it honestly and competing with other enterprises in free markets. The last year i was involved into a network marketing company, i have to say that it was a great experience that teach me a lot about the crazy business world, even when network marketing are a little bit different than traditional business, the principles are very very similar. You need character, you need leadership, you need to manage a team to develop themselve, you need to know everything about the business you are involve and many other things... As my favorite writter Napoleon Hill used to say "Every lost and every failure in your life has the seed of an equivalent success" you have to be ready to fail at some moments, but at the end of the day, it will totally worth all the pain.

Pitifully in my country Venezuela, due to socialism and excessive state intervention in the economy, is almost impossible to build up some kind of business, and if you somehow achieve to build one solid business, you maybe not going to enjoy it inside the country be cause all the delinquency plaguin the country and taking down any motivation to stay and develop through all the difficulties made by socialism.

In a future post i will tell more about the politic system in Venezuela ;) 

All i can say is im proud to be venezuelan, but i dont see myself building my life in here for now.

How i got into steemit ;) 

I've been always looking for opportunities to make lot of money, my friends know that. One day one of my best friends who is also looking for chances told me "Hey Ricardo, guess what, i think i found a way to get some money doing the think you like... Writting". I'm the kind of person that always listen what people has to say, so i listened up every word he said, it was'nt really difficult for him to convince me, i liked it immediately and here i am posting my introduceyourself.
