THE CONVICTION, STEEMIT HAS LEFT ON MY MIND; THE LURE TOWARDS IT.

I joined steemit community a week ago, and since then it has been awesome.
My name is Romeo Emmanuel, i am from Nigeria. I majored in computer science in university and there also is my field of expertise; programming, website building, graphics.

When I first learnt about steemit from a friend I met of Facebook @ukwuanitochi, I felt reluctant to join up but after a quick study on the steemit's principles of work and success, I regretted wasting a second to join.

Steemit to me is more of social platform than a coin world. It provides opportunity of making and meeting new friends. But one factor lured me helplessly towards joining steemit, the transparency and success they have achieved withing a short period of time.

The whole system is rooted in transparency with every vote and transfer being viewable to the public from upvotes on posts to wallet transfers. Unlike most digital currencies which are difficult to access for the majority of the world without any money to invest, Steem removes this friction for the average person to join in the cryptocurrency world by allowing earnings via posting without needing to buy in first. By doing so, decentralized the control of steel supply and mining.

Another factor that seduced me is how fast steemit has rose to success withing a short period. As of December 2017, CoinMarketCap.com listed Steem and ranked Steem tokens 32nd of 1,358 cryptocurrencies. Steemit market capitalization is super awesome too... Guess what? Today Steem has rose to 28 in the coinmarket. WHAT A TREMENDOUS FLOW OF SUCCESS.

Am glad to be part of such wonderful community that avails ample of opportunity to mingle and make new friends and allows my voice to worth some coin. I love steemit
