Hi Steemit! Welcome To My Introduction!

Hello Steemit! My name is Ronnie Pondiscio and I'm excited to be a part of this community and to start making some quality posts. Before I talk about my interests and hobbies, I want to talk about why I'm choosing to join Steemit. I see Steemit as a way to post and discuss meaningful content in ways other social media platforms cannot provide. Sure you can post things on Facebook or Twitter that accumulate thousands of likes or retweets but those likes and retweets have zero value in the real world. Plus, as a 21 year old college student, nobody my age wants to hear me talk about technology, politics or meaningful life events. So with that being said, I'll start my introduction.

About Me

I'm a 21 year old college student from New Jersey(USA) currently working on getting my bachelors degree in Management Information Systems (MIS). I'm starting my senior year of college in the fall and anticipate graduating from Rowan University in spring 2018. I play football for my university as a defensive end and I also participated in track and field in high school where my main events were 400m hurdles, 400m sprint and high jump. I'm very athletic and I love being an athlete. Besides sports, my biggest interest is technology. The first time I owned and operated a computer was when I was 4 years old when my father bought me one. I had no idea what I was doing with it back then and I mostly used it to play computer games but it definitely was the thing that made me forever fascinated by technology. My other interests include video games, music, movies, hanging out with friends, going on adventures and to put it simply, just having fun.

My Future Plan for Steemit

My interest in technology has lead me to Steemit, a platform where you can freely share any idea you have and get rewarded for it with real money. Everyday I am critically thinking about what is the next big thing and I think that Steemit might be it. I would love to share my thoughts with people that want to hear them and at the same time accumulate real money for doing so. I think a lot of my posts are going to be related to the technology, societal problems, and my own life experiences/adventures that helped me learn and grow. I will cover other topics beyond what I already mentioned since I'm writing about anything that just comes to mind. I'm thinking that my next post is going to be about Cryptocurrency since it has been occupying my thoughts lately so if you have interest in that, feel free to follow me.
