Introducing myself...

Hello World!

I'm a young adult trying to start laying out my plans for the future.

Realistically, I'm a pretty underwhelming person overall. I stopped going to college when I could no longer afford it, and have been searching for the right career ever since. Now, I have a desk job and just restarted my education. I've toyed with the idea several different degrees (some admittedly more practical than others), and I've currently settled on pursuing a history degree (for the sake of brevity, I can talk more about my reasoning some other time).

A few years after I left college, I got married to my high school sweetheart. We bought a house and had a baby in 2016, so now we're just burgeoning into the world of adulthood.

I wear a pretty bland facade when I don't know someone well, and that's caused a lot of social issues in my life. Really, I feel like I can be a pretty interesting and entertaining friend, but I don't take my friendships lightly (hence the facade). I have a dry sense of humor, and have found that my "dad jokes" have been coming in nicely.

I only got onto the bitcoin/blockchain wagon in 2016. I've been dropping spare cash into my wallet ever since, slowly building it up. I just wish there was more I could spend it on! Admittedly I am not all too well-versed in the technology side, but I'm learning when I can.

Anyway, I gave up Facebook several years ago and have been looking for the next revolutionary social network. Steemit's decentralization seems to be a direct answer to issues that have faced networks in the past, so I look forward to posting on here!

As for my content, I hope to do a family vlog on DTube, along with posting my thoughts and progress in regards to the creation of my first book (more on that later). Finally, there is a separate video channel I hope to add, showcasing one of my other favorite hobbies (that one's a secret for now)!

I hope this wasn't too much of a rundown!
