Im Liam from Eire/Ireland and im a traditional musician. Im also into Irish mythology, Legends, and Ancient Sites. I have a website called www.Shee-Eire.com which is my take on the ancient world of Ireland.
I hope to use this platform to show the amazing ancients sites of Ireland that are out of the way, hard to get to and not often visited. We start with Wedge Tombs and one of my favorite spots, due to it's hard to get to location,
1: the Aghnacally Wedge Tomb. This site can be found in the mountains of Northwest county Cavan just south of a town called Swanlinbar .
This Wedge Tomb still retains a large amount of the Earth mound that was used to cover these sites. A group of Ash trees and its root system are what has kept the mound in place all these years or it would have eroded away. The peace and quite at this site is amazing.

2: The Gaint's Leap wedge tomb, another one found in the mountains of Northwest County Cavan
