Wow, thank you! I have tons of questions but I'm not sure I should burn them all in a day. 😄
For instance, what are steemians and what are promoters? Are they so different? Can anyone be both?

Downvoting a post can decrease pending rewards and make it less visible. Common reasons:

    Steemians are just users of the steemit platform.
    Promoters are accounts that promote others posts by resteeming and/or upvoting for example. They often also host contests/challenges…
    And of course, a steemian can be a promoter… but most of the time they use different accounts...
