My first post in the community

I'm excited to be involved in the Steemit community. My name is Samir and I am from India and placed currently at Utah, USA.
I am a Database Administrator by profession and keeps interest in latest world wide news related to my profession, technology and about life style all over the world. I recently cam across this community from one of my colleague and convinced myself it as a great source of knowledge gain and sharing experience.
So here I am.

While not working, I like to play ping pong/table tennis though I am still a beginner phase in the game. Apart from this I watch any movies erespective of language and genre. And a month back I get involved in to cryptocurrency after reading a lot about it (blockchain).
