Achievement 1: My Introduction Post to Steemit.

Hi everyone...! As I'm new to this, i like to first introduce myself to you all. I’m Sanduni de Silva, 25 years old and I am from Sri Lanka, a beautiful island full of magical sceneries throughout the country located near India and well known as the pearl of the Indian ocean.

Ambalangoda, a coastal city in Galle district in the southern province of the country, is my hometown. This picture depicts a scenery of Ambalangoda beach.

This golden city has a heritage of traditional masks and puppet industry over centuries. Each year, many foreigners visit here to see this beauty of the tradition and the eye-catching blue beach.

I have attended to two schools. Both are in my hometown.

Sri Devananda College, Ambalangoda was my first school and I was there for 5 years and after passing grade 5 scholarship examination, I was able to go to Dharmasoka College in Ambalangoda.

I finished my ordinary level examination and advanced level examination successfully there and was lucky enough to enter the leading Engineering Faculty of the country.

So, I’m a final year engineering undergraduate of the Faculty of Engineering, University of Moratuwa which is located near the capital of the country, which is so known as Colombo.

Honestly I don’t have a deep understanding about crypto currency but I am interested to know as it’s a future trend. I hope, within a short time period, I’ll be able to have good understanding about it.

Though I’m an engineering student, I really love artistic things. I’m capable of drawing and painting, zentangles are preferred. Here I have attached my zentangle drawings for you all.

Me and my girls gang who are together with me from grade 7, did a wall art at my school, Dharmasoka College before the corona outbreak in the country. This is a picture of one part of the drawing. It was a long wall and took about a week to finish the work.

Other than this I like to read books and listen to music though I have a bad voice for a music lover. Also, one of my main interested area is cricket though I’m not a boy. Yorker King Lasith Malinga is my favourite cricketer since grade 7. The best thing is, he is also from Galle District as me.

I was a writer and now I am an editor in my university media crew called MoraSpirit, which is the leading university sports media organization in the country. So hopefully, that experience will help me with this.

I do some sawing, and love crochet but I’m new to crochet. This quarantine season is full of free time and I could do many things during this season. Crochet is one of them.

Gardening is one of my favourite things and it’s amazing to see how a seed becomes a plant and blooms and then gives fruits or vegetables.

So, I hope to share my experiences with those things during the journey in Steemit. Other than this, I’ll be able to share the beauty of my lovely country when I’m traveling with my friends. Also, as I’m going to be an engineer within the upcoming year, I hope to share my engineering experiences and knowledge with you all.

I will love to read posts about those things and share your experiences too. Lifestyles of other natives will also be an interesting topic for me. Also I like to read sports, cookery and astronomical type things too.

I’m looking forward to explore the beauty of the people from the other corner of the world and also to share my experiences with Steemit.
