Hello World. Hello fellow Steemians!
I would like to express first my greatest gratitude to be here in this platform. It is indeed the best one!
As an introductory part I would like to introduce myself formally, I am Vincent Vismanos, I have many nicknames but my friends call me “Vince” for short. I am 23 years old and I live in Barangay Binaliw, Cebu City, Philippines. I am a graduate of the course Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering at Asian College of Technology last 2015. See picture of my school below.
I am a proud working student graduate and earned a flying color as “Cum Laude”and Institutional Awardee. During my time there as a college working student, it is really a tough one. You need to balance studies, work and family. But regardless of many pressures, problems, ups and downs in life I still manage to earn my degree. All are of course thanks to the Lord’s provision.
My job there at the school is Technical Support. We are the one who maintains, manage and assists technical concerns on I.T infrastructure and school events. We maintained at most 500+ computer units there at the school, laboratories, office departments units included. These experiences helped me to learn things which I don’t know coz at first I am a computer novice and I can say that I am nobody in terms of technology. But thanks to 3 years of experience as a technical support in our school I gained amazing experiences. One of these are the following:
-Pressure: I learned to handle side by side pressure. Meeting deadlines and submitting reports on time. Handling clients (teachers, administrators and students) with utmost professionalism.
-Time management: Balancing studies, work and family without compromising one of these three.
-Multi-tasking: Accomplishing tasks one by one which was given with short notice.
-Research: Pushing one’s self to search stuffs in the internet which I don’t know in order to find solution to the problem I encountered.
-Camaraderie: The bond we share to my co working students as a Family.
Pictures below are the experiences I had in our department. It is really nice reminiscing those days. Please bear with the bad picture quality.

Wooow!! What a great transformation. I am really glad I am part of this project. What a great experienced.
Pictures below are when I trained the Institution Office Staffs in our school.
All of these experiences enabled me who I am today.
After I graduated I landed a job to an I.T company here in Cebu City. My job there in my first company is Technical Support Represantive, I do not do voice support but hands on, I do site survey, making project proposals and project installation. In my second company my job there is Technical Sales Engineer, as the name implies I am a sales employee. The company which I am into is high-lighting security and surveillance products. I assists telephone inquiries, doing site survey, making project proposals and ensuring the project to finish on time. Also I did a part time job for 1 year in our school Asian College of Technology as a Teacher in the College of Computer Studies. Lastly, the current company which I am now is Extendus Fiber Optics and I.T Solutions in which I am one of the owners.
What's the reason why I blog?
The reason I blogged is for me to share what I’ve learned in my experiences, may it be tutorials, travels and etc. I desire to be a teacher and part of being a teacher is basically to teach and to share, it does not require classroom alone but you can still impart by sharing it to the people around you. I want to share what I have and at the same time learn also to the things that other people have.
That’s it. This is a little about me guys.
Expect for more informative post here in my blog. Keep in touch.
