Why Hyped on Crypto was created by @scotlarock727

First off, I want to thank everyone who followed my link to get here. I didn’t want the account to be completely empty, so I felt inclined to write this. I think a good place to start would be to explain how Hyped on Crypto was created.

When I decided to get into cryptocurrency trading at the beginning of December, I had no idea where to start. I looked all over the net for info. I began reading many articles and watching videos. Around December 10th, I ran across a Youtube channel. At that time, the channel had been posting videos for about a month. The Youtuber had roughly 700 subs with the top video having 300 views. Although the view count was limited, I saw raw talent and an opportunity. I had not considered all the possibilities at the time, however I started to engage with the owner on his livestream. He noticed me and promoted me to temporary mod status for the stream. That was the beginning of the development of a phenomenal team.

I was the first member of the Discord team. After that, we brought in Allen, Mikeal, Landeau, Jason, Sparks, and finally Musa, who came on as a developer for our current project of which I am very excited to talk about. I believed that my talent as a social media promoter, combined with a wide variety of skills from the rest of the team, were the ingredients to create something great. Over 28 days, I had personally managed to accumulate 181k impressions on Twitter, which drove tons of traffic to the Discord channel.

In less than a month, the team had 30k subs on YouTube, 20k members in Discord, and almost 2k Patrons. The snowball started to roll. I was putting in 10-hour days promoting the Discord channel. The other members of the team were putting in just as much time. We managed to do this, despite all of us having 9-to-5 jobs. It was a complete team effort. No one man worked less than another.

Unfortunately, a series of events led to a majority of the group going a separate direction in order to seek out this new venture. I could go into further detail, but that would be distract from the point of this article. Before going into detail about this new project, I would like to express my gratitude to the loyal members of our community who chose to accompany our hard-working team on this new journey. Without you, none of this would be possible.

Moving forward, we got together and decided that we needed to build something where we could all utilize our talents to their full potential. We all had one thing in common, which made the decision for a name unanimous. That’s when we named our project @HypedOnCrypto. We are doubling down and putting in twice as much effort and heart to do things right this time around. Our goal is to find amazing new leaders who love cryptocurrency as much as we do and help us reach new heights. I would love to hear from you if you have any skills that you think can help us. I am pleased to say we already have 1300 members in our @Discord ready and waiting for us to go live. Our goal is to invite them all to @Steemit and help build this amazing community on our mission to the moon and beyond! It is going to be an exciting time for everyone involved. There are so many talented people in our community. I would like to stress that greed will not play a part in our decision-making. Staying true to that promise will ensure that we provide the best content to everyone. I would like to thank everyone that has taken the time to read this blog. Keep a close eye on Hyped. Big things are coming, I promise!

Hello @Steemcleaners Ty for your input as you can tell I am very new to this platform and trying to get a feel for things. It was not my intention to use the #introduceyourself tag more then once but I was unable to delete my first post. I would love to delete that first post if possible? Any help in this would be greatly appreciated. And as far as using the #steemit tag. This article is distinctly related to Steemit because our goal is to bring our entire community here once we are set up as I stated in the the post :) Our team is working very hard to make this happen. I love this platform and would love all our members to enjoy it as well :)
