SeldomSceneKid, SSK for short. I'm a 29 year old game (board and digital) enthusiast, I'm a handy-man by trade, and I became curious about steemit after hearing about through a friend. I may end up browsing through here more often than full on interacting until I really get a grasp. Ideally, I'd like to bring some gameplay videos and general writings I've put together for the community to review at some point and see if I can get some constructive criticism. Either way, I'm hoping to find a niche in the community and looking forward to learning the ins and outs of everything.

Yup. Currently I play a fair bit of games, though I'm not proficient at really any of them. Escape from Tarkov, League of Legends, PUBG, a bit of Monster Hunter World (once it releases on the 26th) , and my go to will always be modded Minecraft. I think it's a huge tool for relaxing.

Escape from Tarkov is a really unique one. I kept trying to play it like PUBG and just got destroyed by the AI and other players. Once I slowed and treated it a little more like Arma 3 it was a lot less brutal. But there are still players that are so good they'll really punish you for silly little mistakes. I typically don't use any of the mobile games aside from some puzzle or word games so I haven't tried that Rules of Survival. Either way, there are a few people that stream Escape from Tarkov that a really informative to watch.

So far, so good. The initial community interactions are what tends to make or break something for me so a welcoming like this is refreshing. But I am looking forward to interacting on here so far. It's been a little confusing not having the type of things other sites have spoiled me with (image hosting, drag and drop file interaction, etc) but it's nice to actively figure things out and seeing the guides other steemers have up to help has been fantastic. Nice, I've been enjoying it so far. Everything isn't super intuitive to me yet, but I'm really enjoying it. Hopefully as I keep figuring everything out I'll be able to really get in to things. How have the steemers been treating you so far? And what kinds of games are you in to? It'll be nice to see what kind of community for gamers Steem has available here.

yeah I'm curious about the kind of community for gamers here too..I'm just joined today, so far the steemers are ok. It's something really new to me too..I love Overwatch, Deux ex, horror games, Quantum break..I like mostly fps games..btw what do u game on? I play on PC and PS4 mainly. And a plethora of games, from the Battle Royale games like PUBG and Fortnite, to Monster Hunter World and Minecraft. I tried to play Amnesia and not being able to attack or defend myself. But I play such a plethora I tend to just be mediocre at everything. But it's enjoyable enough for me.
