My name is Seyi Emmanuel, I'm a graduate of Geography and Environmental Management based in Nigeria. I'm married to Esther with whom I'm raising two lovely kids in an urban center which is mostly populated by working-class families. I love to help people find what they need to foster personal development because I believe the biggest room in the world is the room for self improvement. With this belief I don't give up easily on people.

I joined Steemit in March, 2018 on the recommendation of a friend and personal digital marketing coach. Getting to know about this platform did not come free of charge as I had to pay a token to access an ebook sold to me by my friend. The ebook is titled "Post2Profit" written by Helen Doherty. The author is a member of Steemit @hopehuggs. She is also the creator of https://www.post2profit.online. It was while reading this ebook that I got to know about Steemit. After my sign up I had to wait 12 whole days before my account was eventually verified and approved. Prior to that moment I read some newbies' accounts were approved in less than 48 hours while some waited for more than three weeks. With that experience I came to term with the fact that in life "patience is a virtue". To thrive on steemit.com I need to be patient too and learn from others.

While I don't want to overly bore you with the details of how I joined this platform, let me tell you more about myself. As a talented fine artist I did my first drawing and painting when I was 6. I began handling electric iron at age 8 and that's when I had the first electric shock which swept me off my feet in my family's small living room. I did not do well in reading and writing correct English until I was in grade 4. I became a prefect before I got to the final class in the elementary school. I was appointed both the school janitor and office boy to the headmaster simply because I did come to school very early. With this appointment I learned a lot about leadership and how to serve others by taking initiative to do what they'd have felt reluctant to do.

I started out blogging in 2012 when I joined wikihow.com as a writer. Since then I have been developing my writing skills online. I came here to share my thoughts and opinions about every day life.
