Dreams. They are what drive us to wake up everyday helping us achieve our goals and also what brings us together to achieve something bigger.
Today is a dream for me. the beginning of an incredible journey. Today, not only did i join steemit ( i couldn't wait 2 weeks :D so I paid the 0.01 ETH) but it is also the first day i foray into the cryptocurrency world! I started with buying $1 worth of bitcoin. (I later bought a $100 more and some ether to go with it).
You may say I am late to the bandwagon and I always knew that. I knew that from the moment I realized I should have invested in Bitcoin 5 years ago. But its ok. I believe that digital currencies are going to only increase in value and I believe in my own ability to make wise economic decisions!
I come from San Jose, California - home to the silicon valley, home to many dreamers (and incredibly high rents). Like all of you I dream of making it big and being successful.
Today is also an important day for another reason - Today is the day I realize my dream of writing and sharing my creativity with the world. Ever since I was 15 and wrote my first poem, I knew that I wanted to write. What we write can inspire, incite anger, love, compassion, motivate people and so much more. It is a medium that allows us to express ourselves universally.
I am incredibly grateful to be a part of this community, to be among you, to learn from you and to share so much more.

Oh.. and a little more about me. I enjoy movies, meeting people, traveling and driving. I love DRIVING and CARS. I also love anime especially Initial D and bleach. I also program for a living. Super happy to be one of your first upvotes and also give you a friendly welcome to the Steemit community. For me, the 2 best things about being a Steemian are sharing and automation. The sharing part is when you upvote someone else's post, you get a piece of the curation (money/crypto) from that post (and vice versa). The automation comes from using steemauto.com to auto upvote so you can literally make crypto (Steem) in your sleep.
For example, you can earn a share of the curation on my post from 4 days ago "The Paradise of Kanchanaburi" by upvoting it (The Sharing). The amount of money/crypto is shown in the post.

We loved San Jose when we visited the Bay Area in 2016. It was a wonderful place and where my mother was born. It has been a very strange journey for us with the whole cryptocurrency thing. We signed up thinking was going to be completely different, but instead, we found a great community where we found new friends and a place to belong. You can't really say that about Bitcoin. haha. We look forward to seeing what you will bring to the blockchain in the future.
