We are two happy mice named 'Sniff' and 'Scurry'.
You may already know us from Dr Spencer Johnson's self-help best seller...
'Who Moved My Cheese?'
We were quite happy spending our days at 'Cheese Station C' with our little people colleagues 'Hem' and 'Haw.'
However, we started to sense 'change'. Nothing felt right anymore. The cheese didn't taste right, nor did it smell right. And there seemed to be less and less each day.
Then one day... IT WAS ALL GONE!
We are simple mice - however when we look around at the world now - we again sense that things are just not right.
The Cheese is just not 'SOUND' anymore.
So we have put on our running shoes and we run the maze again. We are in search of new and tastier Cheese, in this new world of 'crypto-currency' - particularly 'STEEM'.
It is going to be quite an adventure so we hope that you will join us.
More importantly, we hope that you will see the change happening around you and that when the time comes, you too will be ready to adapt.

oh that book singlehandedly changed my working life! Back in the 90's the company I worked at (A large multinational software company who was getting raked over the coals for creative accounting) gave a copy to all staff - I think the purpose was to get everyone just to shut up and put up with the cheese... instead most of the top sales people ended up going elsewhere to find new cheese :)
It taught me I can believe in myself and not put up with a whole lot of $#!T, to trust in myself and take a leap.. I've now never been afraid to leave a job that doesn't sit well or match my own morals and ethics.
For such a tiny quick and easy to read book... it was one of the most influential things in my life!

Hey there and welcome to Steemit!! I just stumbled upon the Steemchurch bingo game and saw your comment there. It led me to your intro post here and I must say that I am impressed with your goals. There are not enough people on Steemit looking out for others and encouraging positivity and growth. I just finished watching the video and I thought it spoke volumes about society today.
I am a teacher and I see so many different perspectives from my students on how to find their "cheese". Many have still yet to figure out what their cheese is but they are already starting to learn what they need to do to be ready once they do. I think it is so important for young people to learn early how to adapt to change and be ready to not only work hard but work smart. So many people are resistant to change and have this sense of entitlement that prevents them from reaching their maximum cheese potential. It is imperative that we not only learn from our mistakes but that we take the necessary steps to ensure that we are prepared for the future and the adversity it might bring. There is a big difference between falling behind, survival and sustainability. I talk often to my students about these same values and encourage them to always look to the future and where it might take them and how they can prepare themselves. It is like a report card. The marks in subjects are great and look nice but those who are truly going to get to the next level are the ones who are excelling in learning skills.These studetns are learning the skills to adapt and learn for life. They will be able to succeed through the changing world because they are able to adapt and learn new ways.
I think that I am going to show the video to my students and use it to foster a discussion about our goals in life and how to obtain them and what might happen as adversity and change start to affect us. Thanks for sharing and I look forward to seeing you help the community.
