An artist transforms an abandoned church in Morocco into a colorful work of art

in introduceyourself •  7 years ago

The artist, Okuda San Miguel, transformed the buildings into brightly colored works. His last work was a church in the Yusufiya area of Morocco, where the project was called "11 planes to freedom"

"The most beautiful work in the churches is the feeling that the religious perspective is changing with new generations, because the location of these different churches and cultures living in these places does not make any difference as if these works combine different religions because art does not care about geographical boundaries. Muslim people to take pictures of the church and pictures of me with the church and this reflects the meanings of love, freedom, peace and equality "
