Hey Steemit community, John Bush here excited to be joining the fun here on Steemit. I'm a huge fan and advocate of crypto-currencies and think Steemit will be the social media outlet of the future. Combining a censorship and advertisement free environment with the incentive of being paid for your content is a definite recipe for success.
My family operates Brave New Books, a community space that hosts events, sells natural health products, and sells books the government doesn't want you to read. We were the first brick and mortar in the State of Texas to accept bitcoin and the first brick and mortar in the country to accept dash.
I also host one of the longest running podcasts on the Let's Talk Bitcoin Network, SovereignBTC, where I interview movers and shakers in the crypto space and share my radical views on cryptocurrency, decentralization, and building a free society.
I'm currently on a cross-country crypto only promotional road trip with my family (my lovely wife Catherine Bleish, two kids Aliana and William Lysander, and our two dogs Murray Rothbark and Spooner) called Dash Across America. Our mission is to educate the liberty community, crypto community, and general public about the value of cryptocurrencies and decentralized technologies and to encourage the adoption and use of these technologies in their daily life.
We are powered by and exclusively spending bitcoin and dash.
To further our mission we are traveling through the Southwest and Midwest in our converted school bus, the Bitcoin.com Bus, hosting meetups, attending conferences, and talking to everyone we encounter on our journey. So far it's been a great success.
