Welcome to today's edition of the Steemiteducation blog!

As we all know, education is extremely important to succeed in life. Without a proper education none of us would be where we are today.

We started the @steemiteducation  account to help promote ALL educational content.  If you wrote something educational, and you feel that your post could benefit a student or perhaps a teacher, please feel free to add a link to the comments of any of our posts.

We recently opened a chat room on Steemit chat and if you want to contribute and help to make a difference, please join us there.  The goal of this room is to promote posts that will assist educators in helping their students. This room is intended to be STUDENT CENTERED. If you aren’t sure if a link belongs here, please ask yourself this question: “Will this post directly help a student or educator?”  If the answer is “NO” or “I don’t know” PLEASE DO NOT LINK IT THERE.

We are specifically looking for activity ideas, lessons, authentic assessment ideas, methods, thoughtful worksheets (not busy work), and other resources that will DIRECTLY help students and educators.  If you want to read interesting and educational posts, you should visit us!

If you are an educator and would like to make a difference, consider writing about education. We will make sure that all educational posts get resteemed and upvoted!

Please consider supporting the other quality posts in this channel even if it is not the subject you teach.

THE MAIN GOAL OF THIS ACCOUNT IS TO PROMOTE EDUCATION!

Welcome to steemit

I'm glad I found this post! I was starting to think Steemit didn't have anyone on here promoting education.

I think there is a future in linking blockchain technology and education in general as a means of helping decentralize AND promote quality educational content online. I hope to be able to contribute my own experience with education and learn from others here as well.

I just found out about this platform. I am fairly new to steemit. I am a teacher getting ready for the new school year. Love to hear new ideas and can't wait find some that I can use in my classroom this year. I am excited to share some of my ideas as well. Upvoted and following!

@elemenya does a great job in writing educational content about chemistry and business. You should definitely check her out.

Thank you @kyriacos we appreciate the tip. Will definitely check out the account. Please spread the word and help us build this account.

So glad to see this platform taking off. I have been posting to education and teaching tags about my experiences substituting but have taken the past few weeks off to get moved into our new home and start planning for the new school year. I can't wait to get some new stuff up and look forward to meeting other educators in the chat!

I recently made a post about meta-learning (teaching people how to learn) and my favourite entrepreneur/educator in that space : Scott H Young.

He focuses on learning efficiently and in such a way that the information actually stays with you.

Here's my post (or you can skip directly to Scott's blog, with the link above):

Hi

This is an amazing platform for educators to create and share information. I wrote a post about Pencil grip. How to develop fine motor skills to assist in having the correct pencil grip.

https://steemit.com/steemiteducation/@tanyaschutte/pencil-grip-right-or-wrong.

I hope it will help someone in developing there learners' pencil grip correctly.

Thank you for this opportunity. I am new around here, but am already hooked! Three weeks ago I wrote a post on what psychology tells us about raising confident, strong minded children: https://steemit.com/psycholgy/@abigail-dantes/raising-confident-strong-minded-children-what-psychology-tells-us and, two weeks ago I wrote a post on how memory works : https://steemit.com/psychology/@abigail-dantes/memories-how-much-of-what-you-remember-really-actually-happened. I hope you find this educational!!
Thank you once again & up-voted!! :)

Welcome, @steemiteducation! @kuaneun from Philippines... Not a seasoned educator yet, but I am very much willing and excited to share information with you. Most of them would be about Philippine music, arts, culture, and the like. 😊

I write a series about music that typically consists of reviews, but I'm considering writing more music theory and history type educational posts, and this serves as sort of an introduction to that. I hadn't thought to tag it with #education, but in the future I'll probably do so, and be in a more formalized format.

This is a great idea! Is anyone curating nerdy philosophical or metaphysical type theoretical type of sciencey stuff? Cuz I have some stuff that I would love to share! ☺️
