Introducing Stuart Fish: Author, Blogger, Entrepreneur, Cyclist and Coach

Hello fellow Steemers. My name is Stuart Fish and I am excited to be a new member of Steemit. My 65 years on this planet have travelled a number of paths to bring me to where I am today. But suffice it to say, I love where I have ended up.

I am passionate about helping people improve their lives, both financially and emotionally. Life needs to be lived and enjoyed and where each of us finds ourselves at any time is 100% the result of our own choices, decisions and actions. So I love to help people make better choices and decisions.

I’ll start off with my Facebook profile - which shows where I live (who can guess Sydney?) and me in my cycling gear, my main form of regular exercise.

This Facebook fan page is all about my books that I have published. I have written and published 15 e-books on Amazon and have helped a number of wannabe authors publish their first ebook.

Now for little bit about my background: Born in South Africa, I studied Business Management and qualified as an Actuary. I worked mainly in sales and marketing in Cape Town until I was headhunted to head up a retirement savings and investment company in New Zealand. I moved to Wellington with my wife and three daughters and enjoyed a successful career there. After 10 years as CEO I moved to Sydney as Director, Strategic Change as my company was merging with some Australian businesses. I retired a year later, at the ripe young age of 51 and have lived in Sydney ever since. After 30 years in the Corporate world, there was nothing I wanted more than to work for myself, which I have now done, successfully, since 2002.

My most recent and current project is a Joint Venture partnership, with friend and fellow author, Peter. Our JV, Dragon Caller Enterprises, will write and publish a series of 5 books about dragons, aimed at kids and teens. Although, I must say, as editor and promoter of these magical stories, adults will find the dragon tales gripping and exciting as well. Book one, The Dragon Caller, has been published on Amazon.

Now that I am officially in my retirement years, reaching age 65 next month - mind you I seem to be busier than I was during my corporate life - I focus in 2 main areas:

Blogging and Internet Marketing: My blog, All About Money, is new and still taking shape. My previous blog, with over 1000 posts on health and wellness, 4abettalife, was hacked one too many times and I had to finally stop that one. You can find me on Instagram at Instagram.com/succeedwithstuart.

Coaching online: My coaching is focussed on helping people deal with life issues and becoming more financially secure. I am building my online coaching business at this time.

Steem fits in really well with where I am focused right now.

What I'm really looking for out of STEEM is a group of like-minded people where I can share my passions and as a way to generate an additional income stream, based on the quality of my content. I do believe that I have a wide and interesting background and experience base to draw on to deliver great value to readers here. It will also create a discipline for me to blog more and succeed more.
