Waddup, dis muh first post (Introducing myself volume 1)

Hello, guys!

I've skimmed over other people's "Introduce yourself" posts to see what the formula for doing this is, but I haven't found any, so I'll do it my way and see how it goes.

I like to occasionally take people by surprise, so I'll start with one: my name isn't really Stephanie. It's actually Klara. Stephanie is my quasi-artistic alter ego. Like Axl Rose, or Cher, the only difference being that I'm neither an artist, nor a sex-symbol. Yet.

I'm a student of English and Russian and I'm on my 3rd year at the University of Zagreb. I live with my brother (at my place in Zagreb - I also have another home, which we refer to as "home home" - the house in which we grew up - but we spend most of our time here now, so you get my point), I don't have any pets (in Zagreb - I have a cat called Pandora back at home; I chose her name because I want my kittens to realize how unique they are - every cat deserves to feel special and peasant names such as Kitty and Mimi just won't cut it; although a respectable lady, Pandora is pregnant again (her milkshake brings all the boys to the yard) and I live in hope of her having a male heir, which I would be able to call Tristram Shandy, probably the coolest name ever) and I spend most of my time studying, hanging out with my friends and eating. I really enjoy in all of these activities, especially the last one. I believe I'm still single because my love for Nutella is on a metaphysical level which surpasses any hypothetical love for a potential human.

If I were ever to be dissected, I believe 30% of my body would be made of Nutella, 35 of my love for my friends, family and pictures and videos depicting baby animals, and 35% of sarcasm, irony and slight cynicism, which you may have noticed by now. My life is based on sarcasm - it's my exhaust, exile, way of expressing myself - basically my lifestyle. I remember my high school teacher once wrote a recommendation for me, in which she wrote I hade an "unusual and unique sense of humor spiced with a 'dash of sarcasm,'" which I feel is an understatement.

Which brings me to the point of why I decided to open this account: I haven't had a real hobby since I was 18 and I realized I spend too much of my time watching useless YouTube videos and imagining what I would say in an imaginary Jimmy Fallon interview about that one time in elementary school when I told a dirty joke on a church trip and my school janitor heard my so I pretended to be dead for the next couple of hours until I came up with an explanation, so I realized I need to find a more productive way of spending my time. I actually love acting, but can't really find a drama group at the moment; however, I enjoy all kinds of arts - after all, I am a literature student - and I have been trying to find another way to express myself through one of them. I'm not much of a singer, dancer or a painter, but (not to brag #humblebrag) I have been told I'm an interesting orator and should try to start writing down my thoughts and stories. I thought about starting a blog, but I felt they were a bit outdated, and also, I wanted to start by presenting myself to a community, which doesn't know me as well at first. I waited for a good chance to do so, and that's when my friend told me about this page - and I decided to give it a shot :)

You will soon see that my photos are absolute trash - at least those taken with my superextrafantastic 3rd century B.C. phone (those nicer ones are taken with my friend Matea Krnić's phone - if you're interested in some better art, don't hesitate to visit her steemit account). However, as with the rest of my social media accounts, on this profile, I'd like to express myself primarily through the written word and I would like you to look at my photos as a prop in doing so. I do plan to buy a better phone this year, which should make my profile more attractive to look at, but until then, if you do honour me with dedicating at least a part of your time to this profile - please, do have that in mind :)

I was going to start with a picture and a story, but I have been writing this for quite a while now and I'm tired and, let's be honest, very few people would be willing to read such long posts, so I'm just going to add a picture of me that I like and continue when I am more rested. This picture was taken by my friend Antonija, a prospective photographer, not by my twice broken LG.

Hope someone's come to the end of this - I promise, my future posts won't be as long! Also, I hope you'll like my posts - please, do comment if you do or don't and have a way of improving. I'm open to every kind of constructive criticism.

I'm glad to have become a part of this community and hope to grow in it.
