Dear Earthlings,

Sorry English is not my native language. Please excuse a poor stranded alien. By being on Steemit, I hope to improve my English writing skills.

So let me start. You Earthlings have an amazing planet. I have never seen a bright blue sky in my village where I grew up. When I landed here, my heart skipped a few beats from the sheer beauty of the sky and the green forested mountains all round me. Even when it rains, I love it because there is no acid in your rain and it’s so clear that I can drink it. I still can’t believe the beauty in this world. Since getting stranded on Earth, there hasn’t been a day in which I haven’t marveled at this planets’ majesty.

And the air. When I took my first breath of that crisp mountain air it was something electrifying.

Your food is even more amazing! I look forward to waking up each and every day to discover new foods, new spices, new ways of cooking them. No wonder you guys and gals are so smiley and happy. And just walking around and sampling street food is the best! I always discover something new. Where I’m from, we have very little diversity in food. Planet Earth is a treasure when it comes to eating. The only complaint I have is that I eat too much, so I’m gaining some weight. No worry, I discovered a diet that I’m testing. I use to be so skinny and sad, and now I’m chubby and happy! I guess I’m a happy stranded alien.

So why am I on Steemit?

I wanted to talk about my life here on Earth from an alien perspective. The way I was raised in my village was different then here and I wanted to share those differences. Also I want to raise some money to travel around your amazing planet and discover more wonders. It also gives me a great platform to meet other Earthlings, answer questions, interact and and learn more. Where I’m from, we had to get approval to publish our thoughts. I got in trouble the first time I tried it, so I gave up. When I discovered Steemit, I just couldn’t believe such a platform existed, where anyone could express any kind of thought without fear. So here I am!

Will I answer any questions?

Sure. What I want to avoid is revealing my identity for reasons I can explain in later posts. But anything you want to know I can answer in future posts, just type your questions below in comments and I’ll be happy to answer them. For example; how I got here, what I was told to believe or the values I grew up with in my village etc… Ask anything. If for any reason I can’t answer, I’ll tell you why.

What do I love the most about living on Earth?

It’s simple: FREEDOM! You Earthlings are so lucky. I love that you are so free do so many things. The first time I was released from the hospital and took my first walk around town, I was shocked to see how free and diverse everyone was. I still can’t believe it. In the village I grew, we were not allowed to film and I always wanted to do that. I’m going to post videos of all the cool things that might be mundane to you, but are alien to me! Especially all the crazy thing that Earthlings do. If I lived for 1000 years, it wouldn’t be enough to get me bored.

Do I miss my village?

I don’t miss the village because it’s a dismal place, but I miss my family and friends. They are good people born in a bad place. I can tell you more about home and how my grandfather and father sacrificed to get me here. I do miss them, but I love my new home. And if I had to be stranded on any planet in the Universe, this is the one. I can’t imagine a better place!
