Introducing myself as an new user

Dear all,

I am super delighted to join the social media platform of Steemit! I have been dreaming of keeping a blog for suuuuch a long time (to be particular, the idea of blogging came up to my mind for the first time over four years ago). It is highly satisfying to finally accomplish one of my long-term ideas… you can only imagine the level of my enthusiasm at the moment, this feeling is incredible beyond description!

As a short introduction of myself, my name is Sulimur and I live with my family in the Northern part of the world, Finland. Our home country is the ‘land of thousand lakes’ and we are pleased to have four seasons in Finland (although the summer of past few years has not been something to brag about).

To share something about myself, I am passionate about reading memoirs, cooking main courses, exercising LesMills workouts and watching TV-series. I consider myself as an eternal idealist, wishing to constantly improve myself as a person and I cannot emphasize enough the importance of learning in life. I prefer learning is the only way to challenge ourselves to reach for the stars and to make our dreams come true. I don’t ever imagine myself losing – I either win or I learn.

Perhaps, that is the reason why reading memoirs of inspiring people is an endless food to my soul. At the moment, there is Jürgen Klopp’s memoir laying on my nightstand and waiting for me to crab the book and to dive into his life story. I prefer memoirs as an excellent sneak peek to person’s philosophy of life, to his/hers cherished goal and to all the hard work and sacrifices behind the noticeable success.

I am also a big fan of cooking. My ultimate favorite cuisine is Georgian food, which tells all about me as a chef – I am not hesitated to add hot seasonings or new, spicy flavors into the meals. My husband and I are both eager to eat healthy, nutritious food and we often cook together. It is our shared passion, we spend a vast majority of our time cooking in the kitchen and figuring which wine would be match made in heaven with our servings. In addition to this, I am looking forward to share some of my favorite recipes with you on the following posts.

I am also thrilled about LesMills workouts (especially BodyStep, BodyCombat and CXWorks) as they don’t require significant amount of time per day, yet they are effective to maintain physical condition. I value the effective time management as my life is fairly hectic at the moment – my husband and I have a 6-month-old baby girl.

My favorite TV-series is Game of Thrones (to come clean, I am a huuuuuge fan). I love everything about it - the storytelling, the plot, the characters, the music etc. It brings such a wide range of emotions in just a one episode. Further to this, I am also a great fan of Billions, Suits, House of Lies, Good Wife (as well as Good Fight) and Damages. I find similarities to my life in these last-mentioned law-themed series as I work in civilian life with taxation (I know it does not sound fascinating to be engaged in, but believe me, it truly, madly, deeply is).
