Hello Steemians,am the new girl on the block!

Hello Steemians, this is my very first post. I am very excited to meet you all.

Growing up as the first female child with my two sisters has its own perks but I would have loved to have at least an elder male sibling. But all the same I grew up focusing on being developing myself as I know the responsibilities ahead of me.

I love fabrics and patterns, colors, interior decorations, cooking and dancing on my own. I really don’t like travelling but if I need to fantasize about a place or city, I wonder around it from the internet, so it lives in my imagination until am able to travel to where I want. I like to learn new things, improve on the ones I already know and also keep growing intellectually and socially. I stumbled upon Steemit about three weeks ago on my own on the internet and I put it as one of my ‘to-do’. I created my account, it was verified and so here I am!

Last week, I wanted to make one of the best grilled chicken I have ever tasted and I know only one person that can assist me. I met him when I was working as an Executive Assistant back in Nigeria. So I called and asked him how he makes the chicken so differently and tasty.

He was so happy to help me and that is why building relationships is really important to me. So he told me to marinade my chicken like this and keep it in the fridge OVERNIGHT. He said I also need to slice my chicken like slit through so the seasonings can go through.
For a whole chicken, he said I would need:

Mustard 2 tablespoons
Ketchup 6 tablespoons
Maggi/Knorr as you may prefer
Salt to taste
Little olive oil
Black pepper/chili pepper-I still add some chili pepper (hmm, I Iove to spice my chicken up a little bit, as a Nigerian, I love pepper)
Dried Thyme
Curry powder
Dried or fresh diced onions
I have this chicken kebab spices (containing pepper, ginger, paprika, chili, fenugreek, garlic) I add as well
And mix together.
