MY INTRODUCTION POST ON STEEMIT: DEAR STEEMIANS GIVE ME A ROUSING WELCOME?

Hello steemit nation.

I would like to introduce myself as am a new user in this awesome community, I found out about steemit through a forum post by @sirwinchester, I was skeptical about it at first because I kept wondering , like every other person that is introduced to the concept, how its possible to make money on steemit through blogging just by contributing content but I have been here for a while now and though I still don’t understand the concept completely atleast I know its real. So here I am and am glad that I took @sirwinchester seriously, I mean am part of a couple of some other social networks and i usually spend a lot of time on there just for the fun of it so it feels so much better to spend time engaging actively on a social network and getting rewarded for it.

ABOUT ME: A LITTLE PROFILE
my name is swthrt (real name no gimmick), hence my username @swthrt, I just obtained a degree in mass communication and am currently serving my nation (NIGERIA) through a compulsory one year youth service program.

The program is put in place for fresh graduates to prepare and equip them to join the workforce, for one year the federal government pays a salary and fixes fresh graduates in establishments related to what they studied in school, depending on how useful the establishment finds you, you could be retained and employed fulltime else you let are let go to join the workforce. Cool program right?

WHAT WILL I BE BLOGGING ABOUT?

I love writing and this is a great opportunity and platform for me to start blogging and hopefully get paid for it, lol (thanks to @ned and @dan for thinking this up). I love cooking and I have been following @allasyummyfood and @knozaki2015 food blog, they share great great recipes, i got inspired by them so I intend to share great African food recipes, especially those from my home country,nigeria, so if you want to learn about some wonderful African dishes follow @swthrt and keep tabs on my blog. All in all, you can bet my blog is going to be very interesting, its nice to belong to this wonderful community and i hope to have a very rewarding experience, so wish me luck.
