There are some groups which support new users, anfand help them to understand how Steemit works. One of these groups is the @welcomewagon, they make posts and build community in support of new users. Another group which is dedicated to helping new users is the @minnowsupport project, they use their Discord channel and website to jelp new Steemians find their way around.
