#introduceyourself Newbie - Writing is 4 me!

Good Evening Everyone, I am Teresa I live on the Eastern Shore of the United States in the First State to be ratified! Anyone have a guess...- No, it's Delaware. I have lived here all of my life, only traveled a few times, but I have been to California, Wyoming, Colorado, Florida, Kentucky, Pennsylvania (Alot - have family there) Virginia (hunh family there too) and Maryland. I feel like I may be one of the older peeps here, 50 this year - Woohoo. It does beat the alternative however, not being here...dead you know. Lol!
I am a writer, have submitted a few stories and published a few. A friend of mine encouraged me to join Steemit. This is all new to me, so I hope that you will help me along - anyone who feels led.

I am a daughter of the King of Kings - He bought me with price - a high price, the blood of Jesus - and I accepted him into my life at the age of 7. Without the Holy Spirit - I would be lost! A Friend indeed!
I am a single mom of 2 fabulous adult children. They make me proud everyday. I also have 2 furbabies - a 10 yeaar old Pekignese/Shi tzu named Mango...and a Big Black 6 year old (19lbs) cat named Sam {who is afraid of the dog}. Plus one Grandkitty...Meadow. Seen here sleeping on the cat tree.
I love writing - but finding time to do so is tough. I work full-time outside the home, and am very active in my community. Which includes facilitating a writing group in my town. We are small - but we each love to write. I am hoping that this venue will finally help me get to writing as I should.
