Whatever happened to physical music formats? I personally love them. That's why I get my own music made available on physical formats like vinyl records, compact discs, and cassette tapes. What do you guys think about music in physical format? Do you think it's better than digital formats? Why? Let me know. Also if you would like to know more about the music I make, my name is TEQNiK G and you can Google me or go to TEQNiKG.com or TEQNiKG.BandCamp.com

Having a physical item for something based around audio just isn't practical. You can lose a CD, scratch a CD, and for something like vinyl you have to buy a device to play it. It just doesn't match with the times.
Does it sound better? Lots of people would say yes but I find that streaming music to good speakers is just as good as a CD.
Plus it just takes up space and becomes a material possession. I don't have the space to have CDs for all the music I like. Then add on DVDs and my house would be filled up. Not worth it.

I own more digital content than anything else, but I do have space for vinyl and sometimes CD's of some of my favorite artists or albums.
