CAN WORLD GOVERNMENT STOP CRYPTOCURRENCY?

in introduceyourself •  7 years ago

Hi, my name is Devon, a 33 year old everyday working class man from the good ole US of A. The difference between me and other people is my taste in thinking outside of the box and keeping my hands in several pots at once. This is what led to me being convinced to try playing around in the crypto market. Hands down, it has been the one of the best decisions I have made in my life, if not the absolute best financial decision. I love what crypto stands for, how it can change the world as we know it and how it can suppress corruption, despite the fact it can also blanket it. It is not meant to be regulated and treated as a tool to enslave, but more as a tool to free us and establish a new foundation. Unfortunately, not everyone see's innovation the same way.

Today, governments in different countries across the world have been going on a rampage against cryptocurrency. South Korea, just days ago, raided a leading crypto exchange, Bitthumb, shutting down operations and causing worldwide panic for those invested in the market. Based on fear that the government CAN control crypto and completely destroy it, millions of dollars of crypto flooded the market as coins were immediately dumped, causing a shocking crash across the world. I personally observed the effects on the market, though my strategy proved to be profitable for me during the crash, it was still a terrible situation for many people.

This event was caused by world government not being able to control cryptocurrency. Crypto is also viewed as a threat because it will change the establishments that have long stood, completely upside down. The financial system will be rocked, big banks will become second string to investors and wealth classes will drastically change. I view this as a means to fix the system and for us to prosper as a people. Fear......... fear drives men mad, to the point they do irrational and sometimes blatantly stupid things. Trying to control decrentralized currency....... like any prohibition, will just create an even stronger marketplace and create opportunity for criminals to control crypto. Taking a thing of beauty, and trying to destroy it based out of fear.

What drives this fear? Change. Lack of understanding. Power. The fear of change has always been demonstrated within government across the entire world. This goes to the extent of dictatorship. This has caused great wars and ultimately been a plague on mankind, the pride and lack of desire to break ones comfort zone and change. I also believe world government is so one sided they fail to or refuse to truly understand what cryptocurrency and the blockchain can do for this world. Last but not least.....power. Power is what keeps the governing forces above you and higher than you. When they lose an aspect of control, they tend to go on a rampage, as they did in Asia. Simply, most world government does not want to see it's people control the economy or anything really, at that matter.

This irrational fear, will continue to spread as world government gets bolder in action. Rest assured, this was the warning shot so to say. I believe raids are going to occur rapidly over the next 6 months and new laws are going to be set to try to eliminate "a disturbance in the force" for the establishment. We will see I suppose. Until then, I'm planning for such things and riding this market accordingly. Regardless of what efforts WG make, cryptocurrency is going nowhere, and will emerge the victor in this so to speak "War on Crypto".

Can't stop, won't stop. It's true though: this is a huge threat to centralized power structures across the world. Deep state panic from Atlantic to Pacific!

Crypto will never be suppressed by WG. Thank you for reading and providing your input on my piece :)

Aside from personal fitness, crypto has been life changing. It’s a great feeling, actually owning my money and not be subjected to erroneous and predatory scams involved with traditional banking. I am proud that with crypto I can make ethical transactions with parties of my choosing.

I absolutely agree. I love what crypto stands for and the vision it carries. It is unfortunate that WG does not feel the same as folks like us, simply because they want us to be in their realm of control. Thank you for your input on my piece :) I invite you to check out my other blogs and to interact as much as possible on them! F4F too?

It's not easy to hack the bitcoin is the best thing i like. Agree with you.

Governments are suspicious about cryptocurrency because there is no central bank who backs him or control him. Although it is no doubt that future money is something lije bitcoin or cryptocurrency. There is a need of some regulators who regulate the transactions of bitcoin or control given to governments upto some limits.

I can understand the perspective and I thank you for getting engaged in this post. What are your main reasons behind your belief that WG should have some form of control over the currency, even if just in regulatory fashion? Please let me know, I'm always interested in seeing another's perspective, perhaps I will learn something new or see things from a different light. I embrace constructive criticism :D

Thanks for your reply firstly, I love cryptocurrency and blockchain technology. It's a future of the 21st century. I don't criticise the cryptocurrency but my observations regarding bitcoin and cryptocurrency.
I seem that governments are of serious cocern about bitcoin privacy policy because it is not under the government rules and term and law.Recently China government give some indication of crackdown against bitcoin miners and deals.
It looks that government are not against the cryptocurrency but it's privacy and security which don't allows the government to check and balance the cryptocurrency accounts.

stoping the cryptocurrency is very difficult

Agree.

It will never happen.
