# My adventure in Steemit / Mi aventura en Steemit

My name is Dennis Gorrín, I'm from Venezuela and I live in a city near the capital Caracas, called Guatire.

Mi nombre es Dennis Gorrín, soy de Venezuela y vivo en una ciudad próxima a la capital Caracas, llamada Guatire.

This city is very hot most of the year, except in January, even so, the temperature rises at noon and lasts until 4:00 in the afternoon.

Esta ciudad es muy calurosa la mayor parte del año, excepto en enero, aún así la temperatura sube en horas del medio día prolongándose hasta las 4:00 de la tarde.

I am a journalist and I work in digital media in Caracas, specialized in web writing.

Soy periodista y trabajo en medios de comunicación digital en Caracas, especializado en redacción web.

Although I live near the Venezuelan capital, I was born in San Felipe, Yaracuy state -to the western center of the country-, in 1986.

Aunque vivo cerca de la capital venezolana, nací en San Felipe, estado Yaracuy -al centroccidente del país-, en 1986.

I am interested in the environment, especially the issues related to pollution, its causes, and consequences. I think that humanity must reencounter with nature and have the will to make changes in its relationship with nature because we depend on it and that will not change.

Me interesa el ambiente, especialmente, los temas vinculados a la contaminación, sus causas y consecuencias. Pienso que la humanidad debe reencontrarse con la naturaleza y tener la voluntad de hacer cambios en su relación con ésta porque dependemos de ella y eso no va a cambiar.

On the other hand, I am a passionate reader, I love writing and I love music in almost any style: I listen to rock, reggae, pop and Latin music, like salsa and merengue.

Por otra parte, soy un apasionado lector, amo escribir y me encanta la música en casi cualquier género: escucho rock, reagae, pop y música latina como la salsa y el merengue.

If between your interests are the theater, the cinema, and the beach, then we share the same taste, even if they are not related.

Si entre tus intereses están el teatro, el cine y la playa, pues compartimos el mismo gusto, aunque no estén relacionados.

Traveling, in general, is always an option to recreate. For example, recently I went to Mérida, in the Venezuelan Andes: the food, the people, the architecture and the natural monuments make this city the most touristy in the country.

Viajar en general, es siempre una opción para recrearse. Por ejemplo, hace poco fui a Mérida, en la parte de Los Andes venezolanos: la comida, la gente, la arquitectura y los monumentos naturales hacen de esta ciudad la hacen la más turística del país.
