"Introduce yourself " - A test of how much we know ourselves

@ybanezkim26 introduced this platform to me. I'm excited to be a part of this growing community yet don't know where to start introducing myself? hmmmm. This narrative reminds me of my years as a student; the feeling of being in front of the class and talk about myself

Let me share to you the things about me that falls in the first 2 panes on the left; the "Open Self" and the "Hidden Self"

Let's do this!

I'm Lilibeth Nuñez, 24, electronics engineer by profession. I was born the day before "single awareness day" or also known as "valentine's day". It was a good thing that my born day did not fall on the 14th of February. My name would have been "Valentina" which my grandfather requested when mom was in labor. Which one sounds better? Lilibeth or Valentina?

So much of facts about my name :)

Currently, I am employed as a product engineer at Taiyo Yuden Philippines, Inc. It's been almost 3 years since I resided here in Cebu. From living in my comfort zone back in Bacolod City, being in a very busy concrete jungle was a bit stressing; part of growing up.

To have a life and work balance, I made myself engage into different activities. One of which is joining beauty pageant. This passion of mine in pageantry started when I was in 9th grade where I got my first crown. Last 2016, I had my last pageant competition here in Balamban, Cebu.

These kind of activities allowed me build my self-confidence. Also, I get to share few advises to the younger ones that I get to compete with about my challenges in life that made me who I am today. With my last pageant, I may have not won the crown but I have succeeded in influencing younger generations to do good in their studies to become the career person they want to be and never forget that goodness from within makes a person more beautiful.

I am a person who is not into outdoor activities. Growing up, you can only find me either at school or at home. During grade school, I was allowed to join a Rondalla Group which gave me the way to learn playing Banduria.

Aside from that, I also got the chance to join dance competitions. The most exciting experience was being a cheerdance participant.

Although my parents were very strict during those years and still are with my four younger sisters, they are supportive when it comes to school activities.

As an independent individual now, I took the advantage of being away from home to experience adventures and enjoy more of what life has to offer. Being in the Queen City of the South, Cebu, I got a lot of options where to go first. Hooray! My travel adventure goals just started last year!

Let's get a little too personal. I'll share to you a pinch detail of my love story.

Life is a lot sweeter when you have a partner. Isn't it?
I am happy with how my life was 17 months ago, even happier now having him in it. We are part of the growing society of couples having long distance relationship.

I guess it is true that when you are inlove, you can do things you didn't thought you are capable of. I have made poem for him recently. Each line starts with the letters of his name, Darius.

Don't know how this feeling I have for you started
After a day beside you, you're all I've wanted
Random things we have tacled, we enjoyed and laughed
It's like a fairy tale moment, everything stopped
Undoubtedly, I was so in love with you baby
So here I am from now on, only yours truly.

Before this narrative turns into a short love story, I am going to end it here. I know I sound so inlove in the last part. I just really am. ☺

These details I just shared are just some of my "Open Self" and "Hidden Self".

Being a part of Steemit now, I know that I have the oppurtunity and at the same time an outlet where I can freely share my thoughts, experiences and new knowledge that can be useful to others. I believe that Steemit is the right venue to use freedom of speech. I am now ready to be fully part of Steemit team!
