This is awesome! I'm also pretty new to Steem, and I agree with all of the conclusions that you've come to. I'm learning a ton, and it's awesome to see all the goal oriented people around here as well!

Downvoting a post can decrease pending rewards and make it less visible. Common reasons:

  • Disagreement on rewards
  • Fraud or plagiarism
  • Hate speech or trolling
  • Miscategorized content or spam
