So I am going to try for a greeting that doesn’t make me seem socially awkward. So here goes:
Hey Steemians!!!,
I have been around for a little more than two weeks now and I basically wanted to familiarize myself with this platform and get to acquaint myself with everyone. So far, I feel it’s been going really really well.

My name is Jude. I like to call myself JO. It’s a mixture of Jude and another name (hence my username). I am from Africa, Nigeria to be precise. I am a Christian currently in my final year at a federal university studying chemical engineering and I really hope to be done soon.

I am a **photographer**. I love pictures and I am really inspired by how much light can be manipulated. It’s basically one of the few activities I engage in that keep me as a human in check. I am really inspired by lovely pictures and I have found lots of wonderful photographers here on steemit like @gringalicious, @scottdphoto , @condra , @cottonlazarus, @knozaki2015 and many others who have inspired me within my short period of joining steemit.

I also own a pet dog. His name’s Rooney. He definitely loves getting stomach rubs. He can be a handful at times but he’s a really great companion

As a chemical engineer, I am really interested in radioactivity and how energy can be generated from nuclear fusion. I hope to get the chance to really make breakthroughs in the world of science one day.

My friends are all great guys and girls and they introduced steemit to me (glad that happened, LOL). They are lovely people. They do make me feel miserable at times but I guess that’s what they are there for.

I really like music and I listen to a bit of everthing from pop to rock to jazz to classical. To me, good music never gets old and as long as there is a bit of a melody, I’ll definitely want to listen. I also play a bit of the acoustic guitar.

I really appreciate wonderfully made movies and good cinematography. As much as I feel story is king in a movie, I feel wonderful cinematography can really make a movie shine.
