It's funny, I was running a cam-girl studio for around 6 months a couple of years ago, and this feeling seemed to be very common among the girls. I saw roughly a hundred girls come in and out of the appartment over that time period, but only about 10% came more than once. Out of those, most of them grew more and more disconnected from the experience. Some even got pretty hard into drugs to avoid those feelings. Most of them wanted to leave, but the money was too good to quit.

It was a pretty hard thing to watch, and that's why I ended up leaving the industry myself.
