    Hello Thomas, It's an amazing place, no doubts you will enjoy it! The best weather time is during our summer between October and February. If you go between the holidays in December or Carnaval holidays, maybe you cannot enjoy all the peace this island can offer you because there will be a lot of tourists over there. I would advise you to go in November, January or after Carnaval (mars in Rio its raining a lot, so you won't get much sunny days to enjoy).

      Thanks for the advice! I would much rather to visit with less people to enjoy the peace of the island properly
