Jean Clauteaux and I are part of a generation of entrepreneurs and business leaders who chose to build an incredible business, make money and maybe even change (a bit) the world. To do so, we are putting our hearts and souls into making a business driven by passion, purpose and integrity. We want to combine the essence of the social enterprise movement with the hacker spirit of high-growth technology start-ups while creating sustainable value for society at-large.

I am convinced our professional life must nourish us further than simply putting food on the table and enrich us beyond putting money in the bank. That's why I want our business, URIJI JAMI, to go mainstream across the world. I want us to become one the leading networks and stand for something in this world. I want to see a major sustainable positive impact on the countries that use it. I want to give my team, investors and family a chance to benefit from all of this. I view our venture as an opportunity to learn about ourselves: our strengths, weaknesses, values and priorities. In fact, I expect everyone involved with our company to have the opportunity to learn, earn, contribute and grow to their fullest potential.

Our venture must align with our dreams, passions, and life ambitions!
Not only am I not willing to sacrifice my marriage, family, friendships, passions, health, and values for business success, but our venture must align with our dreams, passions, and life ambitions. The idea of success for me is not a distant potential pay-out but something we work to experience daily. You don't live in retrospect and I want to build a business that is rewarding in real time. In fact, if the journey of creating your business is a meaningful, challenging and personal quest, it becomes an experience where you literally cannot lose. Regardless of whether the long-term financial rewards materialise or not, the adventure will have been worth it.

But most importantly I want to add deeper meaning to business and inspire other entrepreneurs to do the same. I believe today's users are searching for products and services that offer something meaningful. I want URIJI JAMI to be part of a revolution where we combine the power of entrepreneurship with deep personal values, purpose and mission to disrupt the world. Let's all together create capitalism 2.0 where success is not only measured by the bottom line but also by how our ventures reflect our individual values, personal priorities and passions. This for me is revolutionary!
