Is this the social network everybody is talking about? Tom Trader joining steemit and introducing himself

Currently the average waiting time for a new steemit account is around 7 days.

Seven.

That made me wonder how many times I've ever been waiting more than 24 hours for a social network account to be approved.

Not only one.

It seems that all the rumors are true. 

Steemit Inc is quite busy and so are the users on this platform.

All of them.

While waiting for @tomtrader to be activated I've been surfing around the trending pages.

The bar is set very high, the content quality is incredibly good.

Challenge accepted!

My name is Tom. 

I'm an entprepreneur and crypto enthusiast who's currently holding a portfolio of Bitcoin and Ethereum. However, I'm interested in investing more.

Steem may be an option.

Business is not everything. Two years ago the love of my life gave birth to Tom Junior who makes his dad even prouder than any trading chart.

Since Tom Jr. is also much more photogenic than Tom Sr. you won't find any selfies of the second one here.

However, I'm happy to share at least one personal item with you: the view from our beach house.

I'm kidding.

That's a holiday picture I took many years ago.

To be honest I've been using that shot to impress the ladies ever since. I thought presenting a beach house during the first date would underline my skills as a provider, thus increase my chances to be chosen.

Oh boy.

Do you want to know what happend during the first date with my future wife? When handing my phone over to her in order to show her the famous picture, the device felt into her glass of wine and died instantly.

I have no idea why she married me anyways.

But that's another story.

Maybe she lets us in on that secret one day.
