Read This story an complementary of my first introduction post I did here
if you didn't read yet my first part of introduction then let me sums things up for you:
I wrote about how I feeling empty because I not doing what I want to do
and this post was a reminder to me and our self that if you feeling that you doing something that is not yours.
stop saying "something need to be done"
Well "JUST DO IT"
I continue the footsteps of my first post and this is the second part where I stoped doing something i Not love
and began focusing on something that is much more close to my hearth.
I as many other steemians when they first arrive at steemit, they got confused
how to gain reputation?
how to get high upvotes?
what to write about?
what to do?
many steemians suggesting in order to success in steemit:
reply a good comment.:
and to write good content and that's pretty much it.
but no one talks about what to write and how to find your self a place in steemit sea.
it's hard to follow someone you love his work in this jungle, one day I decided to browse tags and to find something interesting to read and to follow.
in steemit there are a lot of creative people that each doing his work, with his touch of magic.
there are bloggers, vloggers, game streamers, crypto advisers, travelers, meme creators, and many more awesome content creators.
and I realize one important thing since steemit is a new network each and every one of us has a chance to become next steemit STAR, as long as you unique.
after trying to find my self what to do, what to write, I finally found my self, I found something that missing here on steemit and that things are:
FUN FACTS
but in more short, fun, and daily dose, so everyone will enjoy my content no matter what their interesting is about
but creating posts about FUN FACTS it's not enough, its just browsing web and books, finding the facts that I love and blogging about.
I need to add my the secret sauce
so I decided to add a little magic, my magic and to illustrate my FUN FACTS with FUN animation,
at first, I created my posts using illustrated funny gifs that not mine, that at some point I began to mix with my animation.
and many people replied that they really like the content and my animation is awesome but it's not enough for me, while it's nice to get compliments, it will be much better when it was my animation.
so I decided not only to write my blog using animation but to use more of my animations.
"replying with a good comment after reading the whole post"
it's not a secret that many people here not even reading your post they just
leaving some comment such "nice content", "love your post" just to get upvote or follower
I decided to connect with other steemians and with their content using my own Personal touch, while I was on a quest what to write, what my blog is about, I could ignore the fact that in order to gain followers I need to read posts that I really like and replaying with a real comment after reading and only after liking the post.
so I decided to leave a comment after reading an interesting post, but in my way expressing my personality
and instead of spending a lot of time writing a good comment on a good article, I decided to reply in my way, using animation, and combine it with my blog theme "FUN FACTS"
for example, i really enjoying the daily mems created by @Zemiatin and in one of his posts he talked about achieving his first milestone and that the next step is the moon, since I truly reading his work since my first day in steemit, I decided to replay to his post with all my heart and instead of words I spend a lot of time to animate my comment in my style.
then other users turned my posts into a challenge, like in a post here "fun and surprising facts you probably did not know about animals"
https://steemit.com/funny/@toresto/fun-and-surprising-facts-you-probably-did-not-know-about-animals
where @eddie006 comment with a:
and i replied with:
then I decided to make my comments with a theme of my blog, for example:
I really enjoyed reading the post from @hitwill about the food markets in Chiang Mai, and how He was eating BUGS, and this is what got my attention.
I decided this time to spend time a comment themed regarding his post but this time to add my blog theme(FUN FACTS)
@flamingirl posted about traveling adventure and how she did a ski.
My comment to her post:
and this is what going to be my posts instead of regular Fun facts with animation
I will create posts with FUN facts involving steemians animation, and not only be talking about facts
but also talking and promoting posts and themed blogs of many other wonderful people of the community of steemit
and creating new social connections with new awesome poeple
since I found my place in this steemit sea
I want to share what in my opinion other wonderful guides here on steemit missing:
I see many people posting a comment:
"nice post, I upvoted now upvote my"
or
"I follow you now follow me"
without any doubt, this will bring you new followers and in a really fast way.
the problem and why I not doing so, while most likely it will bring more followers
follow me and I follow you, most of them, not really users and they not really reading most of your blog it's fake
they only following you so you will follow them back, and not really interesting in your content,
and while it's a good thing to have a lot of followers it's a really big problem when most of them not reading your content, but just to get upvote or follower.
I think we need to remember that steemit is still new so use this opportunity
for instance, let's say you on facebook, and you creating meme's, What are the chances, that you become
a well knows Facebook meme creator, and everyone on Facebook will know you?
maybe if you did this 8 years ago when Facebook was in diapers, but now The chances are very slim.
a good example is this guy
https://steemit.com/video/@toresto/the-first-youtube-video-that-was-uploaded-to-youtube
first youtube video, 12 years ago he uploaded the first youtube when youtube had none video's 0 and no one knew about it.
can you imagine your self-posting on youtube 12 years ago while knowing this is going to be the next huge thing?
steemit may become the next social media use this chance.
*and first find your niche
I keeping posting almost every day even that not always I got new followers or post upvoted
I just remember about the steemit opportunity.
and because I not asking people to follow me or to upvote, I creating my audience slowly but steady and dedicated, they know what to expect from my posts and waiting for my content.
SO Why You Should Care?
don't be like "I follow you follow me" "I upvoted now upvote my"
or my favorite:
"ha ha nice post"
and then
"read my blog."
just keep creating good content, trust me followers that find your content interesting they reading your blog because of you and your content and will follow you.
*and make sure to comment not only after reading but in your way, there are many other people who commenting *remember this
your comment needed to be rememberable.
*keep posting your own creative content
*posts with your original style in steemit
so......
remember first find your niche!(find your blog theme--> and then you will find your followers)
sit on your arse and do your research about steemit, what is missing here and what is too much!!!
after doing your homework you will find what to write about.
so first Identify your interests and passions.
second Research steemit network, find is someone already doing this or maybe the lack of it
*after you found your niche continue posting every day one post and no matter zero followers and upvotes
but it's with your style and your blog theme and not "yet another steemit post"
"if you build it they will come, just be patient" soon or a later people that connecting to your posts will find you.
remember the first guy who uploaded video to youtube, imagine that he decided to drop youtube after months because no one watches his videos.
but then again imagine other situation when no one watching and he still continues releasing new videos
eventually, youtube became a giant, and he was one of the first adopters.
I found mine, I creating fun facts with steemians featuring.
tell about your self, and your blog or leave me an image challenge
and maybe I animated your blog in my next episode.
I am steemnimator i creating an animation out of steemians
this is what I do:
read about fun facts about everything featuring steemians
https://steemit.com/steem/@toresto/fun-facts-about-everything-steemit-edition
featuring:
@smokenetwork @physics.benjamin @hitwill @kingscrown @flamingirl @exyle @jarendesta @zemiatin @rea @bonniepiesse
Hi and welcome, you finally made a right decision in joining steemit. I suggest you to follow the most notable member of this awsome community. They can guide you more than I can do. If you're not yet on my Group chat, inform me if you want. If there's something I can help you with, never hesitate to connect with me either way possible.
I am looking forward to see your best content here and wish that I could finally know more about the awsomest version of yourself.
Connect with the people around you. Maybe a local steemians out there or perhaps someone you meet on a bus. This way you will gain friendship and support both social and emotional.
Remember you are the only you. Be unique and find yourself different from others. Reward yourself by doing only what you love to do. Be creative, there is no easy money but there joy in hardship and hardness. Work smart not hard. Laverage your idea by reading other's content.
Gain trust by abstaining plagiarism. Copying is not a solution to your problems nor a way to achieve your dreams.
Remember that steemit really can support a living. We have seen evidence that there are people like us here who earn more than profissionals earned from their profission. Steemit pays for efforts, so seek for it.
Forget about money, just create content from the things that you love. Enjoy steeming and everything will be put into please. In short, everything will follow, the rewards, the recognition, and the acknowledgment.
Always think positive, never give up steeming. You may not get much in your first year but I'm sure and it is clear that 5 years from now you will reap good harvest if you don't give up. Remember steemit is a long term journey.
Happy steeming buddy. I hope that you will connect with me so that I can help you the best way I can.

By the way brother, I suggest you chose 50/50 rather than 100% power, that way you can maximize your reward. Your 10$ is just 2 SP after 7 days if you chose 100% power, whereas, you can get more when you chose 50/50 and convert SBD to SP.

thank you for the advice I thought since I new it doesn't really matter the rewards, I don't have alot of steem power so my account is not that strong and so are the payments for my posts, it's still pennies, so I thought at first I need to power up my steemit account with steem power and just continue posting my works eventually after months steem power will build my account, and converting SBD to steam power it's cost a fee, but now that you mention that I will loose more even when collecting the reward in SP, 100/100
I want only steem power for now, later after established my account sbd what you think is 50/50 better for getting more steem power?
