English Version
Greetings to the whole community of SteemIt !, my name is Onassis D'aubeterre, I am 24 years old, I work with my mother in our own small consulting and logistic company, I live in Venezuela, the land of grace, where the mountains dress with the purity of the white snow and they curl up with the greenish mantles of mother nature, where the cold and the heat seem always to be present in the least expected situations.
I am currently studying Informatic Engineering and starting to do Pixel Art (something new for me), I love poetry, philosophy, music, writing, anime; and I'm fascinated by video games (my favorites are Half-Life, Team Fortress 2, the collection of Crash Bandicoot, Castlevania: Curse of Darkness, Spyro the Dragon, among others).
Although I am not a Game Developer, my partner (who is very special to me and is the best in of the world!) inspires me to learn more every day about how beautiful and wonderful the world of the games is, the art in them, where there must be harmony in each of the elements that are integrated to create a videogame; an experience, where images, cinematics, colors, sounds, mechanics, history, dedication, passion and everything is necessary for its creation.
I am writing my own novel, although I have not managed my time to work on it, I have several sketches, ideas, maps of the region and even wrote folklore of that world, set in medieval times with fantasy, the use of magic, in a place where things are governed by gods and creatures, both kind and evil.
I also enjoy reading novels (especially fantasy, medieval, spiritual growth and horror), being my favorites The Lord of the Rings (currently reading), Hannibal by Thomas Harris, Gladiator by Russell Whitfield, The Godfather by Mario Puzo , The Tenth Revelation of James Redfield and the collection of short stories of Brigitte in Action by Lou Carrigan, where I met the theme of espionage.
I love doing cosplay (combined term "costume" and "play") , in which you interpret a character (can be real or fictional) of what you are most passionate about , whether video games, comics, movies, television series, singers and many more. I have cosplayed the Medic and the Soldier of Team Fortress 2 and SCP-049 inspired by the SCP game - Containment Breach.
Card games and board games call a lot of my attention (although I'm not that good with card games). At the Caracas Comic Con, I played several board games, where I was able to fight against other players or as a party to achieve a common goal or learn new things; the games that I can remember form that day are Talisman, The Call of Cthulhu Card Game, Risk, Dead of Winter (zombie theme) and many more.
I also met Live Role, in which, as in an RPG (Rol Playing Game), instead of using a board, chips and cards, we accessed rooms as a tiny group, in our respective role (the magician and the rogue are my favorites), resolving riddles, avoiding traps, defeating or being defeated by our enemies in our journey to achieve victory in the game, or the game beating us, it was fun anyway.
I liked playing board games at the Caracas Comic Con convention so much that I decided to buy a Risk board game and some role dices several years ago.
I met SteemIt thanks to @stairway2heaven, who told me that this community is constantly growing, a community where you can show your creations, your ideas, your thoughts, inspire other people, raise awareness and help SteemIt to grow even more.
I will be soon doing posts about my pixel art, poetry, cosplay, writing, possibly publish some stories that I have written or want to write; I would like to use this platform to inspire others and also make my blog an art library so anyone can access it, you are all welcome!
