My introductory post titled 'my so much awaited golden opportunity'

MY SO MUCH AWAITED GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY….

So I joined steemit.com because of my talent in article writing and poetry. I’ve been writing on nairaland.com for free just for the passion and love of it but ive always thought of a platform where I can be doing my writings and also get reward for it, I didn’t see but I have a a quote I liked the most that, “there is always an opportunity, even though the first opportunity you have could be the last”- quote by ME. I so much believe in this quote so much that it got to a point and I said to myself “Tuppence, maybe you were oblivious of your opportunity therefore missed it, which is not going to come back”. Fast-forward to last December, during the Christmas holiday, my friends @mayowa-eu and @phenzzy told me about this great platform as the golden opportunity I have so much awaited (both of them were introduced by @eurogee of @euronation, they explained to me that I can make enough money here because they trust me so much as a good writer and poet and a strong willed, dedicated, consistent and hardworking fellow.
I agreed to join and I registered immediately, then I started ‘steeming’ on Sunday 20-01-2018. After I understood how steemit.com works I then realized that this is the golden opportunity I have been waiting for truly and I have since then promise myself never to relent or stop blogging on steemig.com. I also want to take this time out to appreciate the brain behind this platform @nerd for giving us this platform which gives you the kind of life you can only dream of, just by doing your hobbies.

Now going into the introduction of myself proper. I’m going to be talking about my personal life first.
I go by the real name ADISA USMAN ADELANI, I’m a Nigerian and I live in Osun state, Nigeria. I’m a student of federal university of agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), studying veterinary medicine and I’m in my final year of study (6th year). I am more of an introvert that loves pouring his mind out in form of articles and poetry works. I am a human activist and I believe in helping and motivating others in order to have the better world we all clamour and pray for. I love animals not just because am a veterinarian by profession. I will talk briefly about my aims and what you should expect from me, my passion and lastly what I always wish to do and also incorporate into my life in the future, sooner.

Firstly is to continue here with my writing prowess, motivational articles poems about nature, the world at large and the human race. I have an article am posting next after this introductory post. (stay around for it)
I want to touch the lives of my follower and readers positively, directly in a bid to encourage them and also b an advocate of a better, loving community through my blogs and comments.
I wish to perfect my article my article and poetry writing from the PRO here and also make people learn from me, I’m always ready o teach people and also build a large audience for myself all in a bid to achieve a more friendly community that accommodate everyone to cohabit together peacefully.
I also wish to build on my other area of interests on this great platform.
PASSION

I’m sure by now you are all aware that my passion majorly is article writing and poetry.
I have an undying love for football (playing, watching and discussing). I look forward to the day steemit.com will add this to its tags on the homepage.
I recently discovered my love for photography few months ago and I have started working on it, N:B I’m still a novice but I hope to meet good and professional photographers on steemit.com to assist in building myself.
I love helping others and also an advocate for love among the human race so as to make the world a better place we all can live in happily.
Lastly, my love for animals is like an unquenchable fire burning in me, ready to explode and spread throughout the whole world. I’m a diehard advocate of a pet-friendly-world and animals welfare.
MY WISHES/WANTS THAT I HAVEN’T DELVED INTO YET
Travelling: To see beautiful places across the world starting from my country(NIGERIA) and the world at large, to spend vacations in some beautiful parts of this world and also discover the places am yet to read o hear about. This will also complement my photography passion.
Arts and Designs: Ill also like to go into the world of artistic designs as this is something I so much love doing and seeing while growing up.

Like the popular saying that the journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step, although I call this step the big step which I just took mine by blogging on steemit.com.
