Just joined steemit and wanted to say hello. Conveniently there is this introduceyourself section.
I stumbled on to steemit as a result of my interest in cryptocurrencies. I mine some of them and also trade on a couple of exchanges. Steemit appealed to me because it's application of blockchain technology to social media. It seems like a natural combination to me. The main social media sites right now are middle men, which does not appeal to me. I look forward to exploring my interest in cryptocurrencies and in social media all in one place.
I also have many other interest such as science, alchemy, politics...etc., which I hope to explore on here.
