Introduced to Steemit a while back but have not had the opportunity to make a start.
Somehow blogging made it into my new year resolution list, so here it is post number one!

I though therefore I would start by sharing a Greek New Year tradition. In Greece we start the year with a glass of bubbles and a slice of sponge cake, usually decorated with the number of that year. I like to make mine with a hint of orange flavour and I use icing sugar dusted over paper cutouts to make the shapes of the numbers. The tradition is to drop a coin in the batter and the person that finds it is blessed with luck for the year.

So even if a few days late happy 2018 to everyone - Greek style!
