Football and Great Food (and occasional adult life)

Heya everybody!

I'm Veli, an older-than-I-look student from Finland! I live in the amazing city of Helsinki, and while I'm not out there living my life to the full, I'm finishing my bachelor's degree in financial economics.

How intriguing my studies may time-to-time be, there are so many interesting out there, it's really hard to stay in the dusty libraries. More likely you'll find me freeskiing in the Alps, in the football stands in England or just in the corner bistro enjoying great food and company.

I'll be generally interested about anything or anyone. So far my curiosity has led me to study both journalism and business, to serve in the Finnish military in Lebanon and here, to steemit, which I'm also more than excited about. In about a month or so I'll be taking on my next adventure, when I'll be heading to Montevideo, Uruguay for my exchange semester as well as some travelling around South-America.

I will gladly share my thoughts with you about anything, especially about football or about my dear home city of Helsinki. If you'll be travelling here (which I warmly recommend) and are looking for great restaurants, bars, places to stay or for any activity, I'm the guy to contact. While my information about Uruguay and South-America are for the moment very modest, I'm more than happy to receive hints about the must-do's on the other side of the Atlantic.
