Hi Steemit, so glad to be here!

Hello everyone. This is my first post in Steemit. I'm a tourism student from Mérida, Venezuela, a city in south América very close to where the Andes Mountains start.

I plan to make posts about the things I love the most in life, which are several, including art, culture, history, cities, nature, animals, buddhism, music, politics, and some other things.

I just started University a week ago, and I also have been inside buddhism for a few months now, thanks to a close friend, and it definitely changed my life.

I believe that all human beings can get along well, I don't want to sound like I'm participating in a beauty pageant, but I've got to the point that human beings have more things in common than we think; and focussing on those things is how we can creat a world full of oportunities for everyone, no matter culture, religion, race, anual income...

I believe education is the key to success in life, the more we know, the better, and we can get to know just a little bit of everything if we desire, although is true that we all feel attracted to certain things more than others.

For my next post, I'm going to tell the story of how I sucessfully quitted smoking, and all the benefits I got from it, so keep in touch, I'll let you with a couple of pictures of my two beautiful pets: Cayetana and Draco.
